Deployments suck. :( Hubby is gone again, it's just me and the kids. I know it's part of being a Navy wife but that doesn't make it any easier. How do I explain to a 2 year old where Dada is? That we won't see Dada again for several more months? This is the first patrol where DS is old enough to really know that something is different and ask where his dad is. DH is on a submarine so there are no phone calls and emails are sporadic, at best. Last time we went for over a month with no emails, I expect it will be longer than that this time.
I'll try to look at the bright side - I should be able to get lots of decluttering done, right?
