Siblings

Is it possible to be jealous of your own children? What an odd thought. Not jealous of them specifically but of the relationship they will (hopefully) have. Each morning when we wake up, DS looks over on the other side of me, sees DD and says "Oh, baby T!" He is always so excited to see her and she just lights up when she sees him. I love seeing them interact and play with each other, though I'm not naive enough to think that there won't be plenty of fights and yelling ahead. It makes me wish that I had a sibling close to my age. My brother is 11 years younger than I am and while we are close now, it hasn't always been that way. Watching my children together just makes me miss a relationship that I never had.
