ugh, phone calls

I hate talking on the phone. Hate it. Even my kids know I hate it because when the phone rings DS says "uh oh!" So why does it have to be the most efficient way to get things done? I would rather be able to just take care of everything by email.

I've made 2 phone calls this morning, I think that's my limit for March. I called Dharma to get a copy of an old invoice from May emailed to me so I can have it for tax purposes. The call itself wasn't that bad and lasted less than 2 minutes, so that made me brave enough to make a 2nd call to Wave Broadband. It's been over a year since we cancelled our service with them but I still haven't received our refund check (they initially mailed it to the wrong city). So yes, that's $90 I would have gotten back a year ago if I hadn't put of making a phone call. But damn, I think it was worth it until now, when I'll be needing to pay the midwife soon. One more call to the CPA (maybe today, if I'm really brave) then that will be my quota of phone calls for the month. Maybe for the year.
